OUR ALFALFA, TIMOTHY, ORCHARD GRASS HAY IS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT FOR SHOW/RACE HORSES, DAIRY COWS, GOATS, SHOW CATTLE, LIVESTOCK, ALPACA, LLAMA ETC.
Our Timothy-Alfalfa mix is a great hay for most horses. It's got more nutrients than most field hay you'll see, so you'll need less grain. Their coats will be shiny and thick on this hey. We have 45-55 lb small square bales available at the farm or we can deliver them as well.
Our Premium Alfalfa mix hay is higher in protein and perfect for young growing horses, lactating mares, or performance horses. It has a higher protein content but still has timothy and some orchard grass mix.
This is a good hay to mix with other hay if you want to save on grain or give your horse a boost.
We have different fields with different mixes for different feeding needs. Alfalfa also tastes good, so it's useful when you've got a finicky eater or a horse with a poor appetite.
